On the islands are various reptiles and birds. But there are also Dinosaurs! And among them is the venerable Tyrannosaurus named The Young King. Art by Caio Santos Despite his name, The Young King is actually quite old with some estimates being near the 100’s. He is a revered animal and has been decorated with rings and bangles that do not always stay on. The most notable decoration is the three horned helm, this covers some of the more severe scars from his encounter with a black dragon that visited the islands. Like most apex predators he is dangerous, but also ambivalent to creatures it does not deem as food or threats. He roams the Govipala Range and the Kuduva Grounds on the island of Bhisan. While not the only Tyannosaur on the islands he is the largest and is given a wide birth by other predators and prey. A unique feature of this descendant of the Thunder Tyrant is it’s deafening roar. The sound is only emitted when challenged and it shakes the ground, shatters ear drums and can even break bones or rupture organs. Should you be Playing Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition.
